Quiet Colors for Kids

Write to bonis22311@gmail.com with any question or problem. Every message gets a reply, usually within a couple of days. Telling us which iPhone and which iOS version you are on helps a lot.

I paid before, and the pictures are locked again

This happens after reinstalling the app or moving to a new phone. The purchase is tied to your Apple ID, not to the device, so nothing is lost. Open the app, tap the (i) button at the top of the picture gallery, answer the grown-up question, and tap Restore purchase. Make sure the phone is signed in with the same Apple ID that made the purchase.

How do I save a picture my child finished?

Open the picture, tap the download arrow at the top of the screen and answer the grown-up question. The picture is saved to Photos at full size. The app can only add photos — it can never read or browse your library.

What is the question about the year of birth?

It is a parental gate. It keeps a child from reaching the purchase screen, the photo library or any link out of the app on their own. The year is used once, for a single yes-or-no comparison, and is then discarded. It is never stored on the device and never sent anywhere.

The purchase screen says the App Store is not reachable

The app needs a connection at the moment of purchase, and only then. Check the internet connection and open the screen again. If it keeps happening, write to us with your country and iOS version.

Is there advertising, or anything my child could tap into?

No. There is no advertising, no analytics, no account, no chat, no social media and no third-party content. The only two links that leave the app are the privacy policy and the terms of use, and both sit behind the parental gate. Everything the app does is described in the privacy policy.

How do I delete everything the app has stored?

Delete the app. Coloured artwork and the unlock record live only on the device and go with it. Nothing is stored anywhere else, because nothing is ever sent anywhere.

Which children is it for?

Roughly ages 3 to 8. Buttons are large, nothing is timed, there is no way to lose, and the app works with no internet at all — on a plane, in a car, anywhere.
